RE: Keystone Sydney

Hi and Welcome! We love our Outback. Some of the things that drew us to this fiver: Light interior, oposing slides in the living area, built-in outdoor cooktop, DH could stand up in the shower and dressing area in front of bed (he is 6'3")and cost! We could not afford some of the higher end models. Hope you find one that you love and enjoy the time spent rving with your family. We sure are!;) Lynn http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/rvnutts/100_2113.jpg height=320 width=240

RE: Getting to Blazing Star

Thanks to all for the advice. I am going to try those webclicks as soon as I can. We will be coming in to San Antonio on a Sat. probably around 2-4 depending on how our travel goes. We can't wait! We have Sea World, the Alamo, and river walk on our agenda so far. Again, thanks to all. Lynn

Getting to Blazing Star

OK, our vacation is not until the end of June, but this country girl is already worrying about getting throught San Antonio to our RV park. (Been there once, not towing, and the traffic was terrible.) I was hoping that someone that had already "been there and done that" could help me out with a route through San Antonio, exits helpful hints. We will be coming in on 35. I went to rand mcnally trip planner and the route they planned looked soooooo complicated. Thanks in advance for any help. This will be our longest trip away from home and I am just a little anxious!:E Thanks, Lynn

RE: Booked it today-Crater of Diamonds

Maybe one day you could drive into Hot Springs. So much to do there. You could explore downtown, a bathhouse, go up the tower, ride the ducks, visit Mid America museum if you have kids(neat laser light show), and of course shopping. Lynn

RE: Branson Park Recommendations

We will be in Cooper Creek over Memorial weekend. Never been to this one before but will post after we get home. We did tour Tablerock and it was beautiful but when we were making reservations, they were already booked. We were in Compton's last year and it was ok, sites needed some work. Hope you have fun! Lynn PS, JWB187, your map is more colorful than mine!:W

RE: Best CG for kids in Branson, MO

We stayed at Comptons last year as well. For your 3 yr. old, there is a small fenced in wading pool right next to the large pool. We saw several little ones really enjoy that. The large pool has this huge hippo in the water that kids love to climb on and slide off. As said earlier, it is very close to SDC.They even have a shuttle if you don't want to drive. This year we are staying at Cooper Creek but have never been there before. I'll post after Memeorial Weekend about that CG. Lynn

RE: Sig Pic Problem

I was also trying to add the USA map. Just got the red x. I tried to "do over" but the submit changes button will not "Click". I guess I will try again tomorrow. Lynn

RE: Lake Livingston SP

Hi, We are also booked there for July 3-5. We have never been there before so it will be new to us also. This will be a stop on our way back to Ark. from our San Antonio vacation. We are booked in the Red Oak loop. The only thing that I had heard was to try not to get in the Pin Oak loop - sites to small and close together. When are you guys going? If we beat you there I will post what we found to do in the area. Lynn

Dixie Stampeed?

We are going to Branson over memorial weekend and our ds has been wanting to go to the Dixie Stampeed. My mom is the only person I know that has actually been and she said to go if you like to eat while you smell horse poop! Has anyone been and is it worth the high price? Lynn
